Ready for December

Thanksgiving came and left so fast. I didn't have time to enjoy it!

I had such a busy weekend, I don't know how to recap it all.

There was Turkey Day of course... Joe had to work (at home luckily), and my sister came along with my niece. We had fun prepping dinner and playing with the dogs.

Thursday night we had our yearly friends & dessert party. Sadly there are no pictures of my cheesecake.. I even made my own caramel sauce...

Friday morning it was up early to head down to cape may. My aunts and family rent a house out for thanksgiving weekend, and i get really excited to go. Thanksgiving and Christmas were always so family oriented when I was a kid. Being a in big house with a bunch of happy eating people brings me back to that, and it makes me so happy.

It was home, and then BACK up early Saturday to head to work at the bakery. I had Eggnog lattes and yummy lunch. (that job is the best ever!) After work, it was home to rest and back out to hang out with my bakery friends again.

Sunday was finall rest day. But I did get to head into the attic and break out my Christmas stuff.

It's so exciting!! I looooove getting ready for christmas. I can't wait to share it all with you!

 

Grilled Cheese & Tomato Soup.

I hate being sick. Even if I'm not by definition "sicK" (fever, vomit, all that crap) I still hate feeling that bit of under the weather. :c
After downing countless various kinds of tea (mint has been my favorite) I still feel crappy. Luckily the ladies at work decided on grilled cheese and tomato soup for lunch. I have a spot in my heart for this meal. It always makes me happy. The didn't use Campbells tomato soup. But this is doing okay.

I get to meet with Kristen after work. she gets to see my sweet ride after it's "attack" yesterday. We're going to have drinks and discuss the next few weekends. I want to be a part of her taking Taylor around for her holiday fun days.
Which also reminds me - B101 listened to my prayers and is playing Christmas music starting at 3:00 PM today. (not like I haven't been listening online at work) But now I can have a holly jolly ride home in the ghetto-mobile.

I guess it's not all bad. I have some silver linings to my little clouds overhead. i can see this getting better.

Working hard

I am working hard! I've been cranking it up at the gym. And I'm feeling it pretty good/bad whatever you wanna say. My hamstrings are killing me today. But I'm hoping the sets and sets of squats and walking lunges pay off. - We ARE going to florida in about a month.. And I will have to wear my bathing suit. Which I have to doctor up to a cute suit.

I also have Halloween to worry about. Im hoping all goes well. Not much has been going on. But I guess thats a good thing. Our camper came Sunday. We set it up and started to clean it up some. Its really cute. We bought fabric for curtains, and blankets, and plates and what not. It's going to be so cute :D

FRY DAY!

I looooove Friday. I have a busy weekend Coming up..So much to do.
I have dinner in the city tonite with Joe and family for his moms birthday. I wanted to have curly hair for dinner, and since i don't have the knowledge to set my hair overnight, I had to do it during my lunch break. Good - it only too 20 minutes, Bad I have to hang out looking like little nanny poopoo all day. (see Below.

I can try to smiley and be cute.. But even Kate said I look like her Aunt Helen. Joy :)

So hopefully that goes well, and I look cuter later. Going into Philly usually means south street, Which will be fun. we get to have some drinks and go to the Mood - A cute fancy Sex supply store.. Yes I said Cute,Fancy and Sex in the same sentence. I always get a little something from there when we go. Clothes or what have you. Its a good time.

Tomorrow I have to go to the gym, I skipped last nite cuz I'm a pussy, and my knee hurt :c And I'm skipping tonite, to pound my face full of Italian food and drink. So I will make it up to my body by waking up early and pushing the weights to get the ikkies out. - After that we have to go to(not have to but chose to) Baltimore to see the stray cats.I was first told it was the stray cats, to later find it was also the pretenders, ZZ top and REO Speedwagon. 2nd row seats. This = good time.
I have a theory, that no matter who your going to see. the closer you sit, the cooler it is. We had the honor of seeing the B52's at the Borgota last summer, we got 1st row tickets, and let me tell you. I had SO much fun. If was stuck out in like the balcony section... not so much fun.

Sunday we are visiting my Nanny and PopPop. They're not doing so hot, and my mom is going to by up helping out with them around the house. So Were going to have dinner with them. :) And we get to take the puppies. That should be fun.

Other than that. Work is going by nicely. Its a busy Friday, which means the rest of the day will fly by, cuz i have more stuff to do than I have time. So with that, I'll leave you with a fun Friday Meme. And be out.

Happy May People.
I hope May spring brings good stuff. Particularly weather. We have lots of plans for the spring.. And the weather usually gives us the go ahead on doing all of them.
This weekend wasn't as fun filled as last. Mom was visiting, So we got to see kayla. She stayed over on friday and played wii, and all that fun stuff. We had to clean alot, because the appraisal guy came to see what our house was worth, so we can take the crazy PMI insurance off. Other than that it was all normal.
I got some new Wii games from Gamefly. That place is pretty sweet. I like the deal I have with them. But I got Trauma Center
  i reccomend this game. It is VERY fun. VERY funny. Just a good time. You have to be a doctor and perform surgery on people. We played it yesterday at Heathers, and were so into it.. She told me I have to bring it back today. So I will have to.
I got cooking Mama as well. I think i like that more for the DS rather than My wii.. That might get sent back soon.
