This concept was WAY more fun that I had thought it was going to be. I didn't think it was going to be hard at all, I have a BUNCH of dresses. I just choose not to wear them that often.
What was week one like?
I wore a cute little sweater dress I thrifted over the winter. Now that the weather is nice. I can rock it without long sleeves, and leggings. But instead, can accentuate with a cute belt & Shoes. :)
Luckily it's nice enough at the office to get to wear dresses. I said my goodbye's to this dress today. So I gave her one last wear before I send her of to a thrift shop to have someone else find.. I also LOVED that I got to wear these shoes. A vintage thrifted find. and what a find they are.
I got this dress off Ideeli. I didn't know what to expect (as usual when things are purchased on line) And I fell in love when I put it on. I got this belt on my honeymoon in Cali, and I think it's super cute, and love when I get to wear it. :)
This is another fall/winter dress I can spring up when the weather calls for it. It was a little chilly, so I rocked my turtleneck again.
I really like this dress, and never felt "fit" enough to wear it. After my photo shoot, I had gotten a little more gutsy. Which I'm happy about.. I got compliments! P.S I love those boots.. (from Sazz vintage warehouse) P.s.s - yes, That's the office bathroom. It's the biggest mirror I see..
Yet another thrifted dress. I love this dress because it makes me feel like a little kid. The colors, and the buttons (they're hearts) and there is a little bike on the back.. It just screams of something of would have worn in 1987.. (I was 6 then..)
Week one is done! I had work this morning at the bakery. So I had to shower and change for our company later that night. I pretty much just wore a skirt as a dress, and threw on some leggings. I'm so smart.
Yay!! See you next week!
You made me laugh with glee more than once admiring your vintage finds and the way you chose to display them.
The only thing I would do is go back to the reddish colored hair, it fits your glossy and fun loving style.
You would make a great friend. You are so uplifting.
I am doing my kitchen in the 50's. I got all of the dishes that are called Fitz and Floyd The Omnibus Collection 50's kitchen. I just adore them. They have little coffee pots, mixers and even a tv dinner on them. They are super cute.
I love your Frigidaire Flaire range in your kitchen. They are super as you can hide the burners when not in use.
Hey, here is hoping that you can find many vintage things and show us all what they look like. I liked them all.
Have a great day!
