Instead of heading south with the rest of NJ and part of the "Philly" drivers who all attack my Friday drive home, I opted to head out to my sisters house to see what we could get into with a 3 year old...
Apparently not too much.
There is a cutesy little place in the area I used to visit when I was a child called Johnson farm. I figured going there would be fun for me to see, and for the niece to have something to see.
I was pleased to see how it had grown from a dinky little farm stand, to a baking space, local grown food stop.
Feeding goats with this turn of the century feeding tube. (I think its way more fun when they eat outta your hand, but that's just me.)
Slumbering piggies in the summer heat.
Taylor playing gymnastics
It was hot.. But it was fun getting out in the fresh air. And of course I got a couple treats. :)
Something else I learned..
Apparently Unicorns eat candy cane sticks and rainbows.. Keep that in mind next time your on a hunt.
And when you get some time get out and visit your local farmers markets. It's more fun than you think.
